ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ : ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗಕ್ಕೂ (shivamogga) ಝೀಕಾ ವೈರಸ್ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮೂವರಿಗೆ ಝೀಕಾ ವೈರಸ್ ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದರೇ, ಮತ್ತಿಬ್ಬರು ಗುಣಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ನೆನ್ನೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಚಿವ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಗುಂಡೂರಾವ್ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ 73 ವರ್ಷದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಜೂನ್ 24ರಂದು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರಿಗೂ ಝೀಕಾ ವೈರಸ್ ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೇ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದ ಕಾರಣ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

ಇನ್ನೂ ಜೂನ್.24ರಂದು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದಂತ 24 ವರ್ಷದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೂ ಝೀಕಾ ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಗುಣಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜುಲೈ.24ರಂದು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಲಾದಂತ 64 ವರ್ಷದ ಮಹಿಳೆಗೂ ಝೀಕಾ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವರು ಕೂಡ ಗುಣಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ತನ್ನ ವರದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.

 ಸಾಗರ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಇಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಝೀಕಾ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೊಳ್ಳೆ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಕ್ರಮವಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನೀರು ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಪ್ಪಿ ಮೀನುಗಳನ್ನು ಲಾರ್ವ ನಾಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸೊಳ್ಳೆ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಔಷಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸಿಂಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

A 73-year-old man died of Zika virus in Shimoga!

Shimoga: Zika virus has reached Shimoga too. Zika virus has been confirmed for three people in the district. One of them has died, while the other two have recovered

Health Minister Dinesh Gundurao shared information in this regard yesterday in a press conference. A 73-year-old man from Shivamogga was tested on June 24 and he also tested positive for the Zika virus. But he died due to illness.

A 24-year-old man who was tested on June 24 also tested positive for Zika. He is cured. A 64-year-old woman who was tested on July 24 also tested positive for Zika. The health department said in its report that he has also recovered.

 One from Sagar and two from Shimoga city were diagnosed with Zika. Due to this, mosquito control measures have been taken in the district. Guppy fishes are released for larval destruction in more stagnant areas. Spraying medicine for mosquito control.
